Martine previously worked as a sports TV producer and skiied for the England bump/moguls team. Married to Andrew, she advises the business on general strategy, taking her 2 sons ski race training for the winter season flitting between Pila in Italy and Tignes in France, leaving Andrew flailing behind.
After gaining several years’ experience within a local Interior Design practice, Jessica is orchestrating all things marketing and promotional at the company, working with Andrew and Judy and organising the company’s flag waving! She loves to bake and enjoys travelling to Sweden to visit family whenever she can.
Kitty has now been working with us for a year and is soon to complete her Architectural Design qualification at Trent. She loves spending her spare time travelling, cooking and baking.
Ben Prince RIBA, works in with Laughland Jones to provide architectural support to the team. He set up an architectural practice after 12 years working in a renowned architectural business carrying RIBA chartered architect qualification. Dan is currently half way through his Level 3 AAT Qualification with a view to complete this summer and takes a detailed and accurate approach to his work. Away from his studies and work Dan can be found by a fishing lake when not at home with his wife Megan and two children.
Ceri graduated with a degree in Interior and Architectural Design in 2013 from Staffordshire University. She previously worked for 13 years at an Architectural practice. Ceri thrives on being creative and is an avid traveller and shoe collector.
Rolans works with laughland Jones to help deliver dynamic and original designs. He studied Interior Design at the university of Sheffield Hallam. Rolans can speak multiple languages and enjoys scuba and sky diving whenever he can.
Matt Gisbey RIBA works in with Laughland Jones with Ben Prince. Matt qualified as an Architect in 2014 at the University of Brighton. Matt has previously worked at AJ100 top ten practice, gaining experience in conservation works, working for the Ministry of Justice and the Parliamentary Strategic Estates. He spends a lot of his free time on a bike, having conquered the Alps, the Dolomites and Pyrenses.
Nadia works with Laughland Jones on a project specific basis. She has 23 years’ experience with renowned practices in the design industry, with projects including the redesign of hotels and restaurants. Nadia loves country walks and visiting art galleries in between driving her children to rowing competitions and rugby matches.
Logistics and Operations Manager
With 16 years experience in the furniture design industry, Rob has gained many skills in project management, logistics, warehousing and furniture installation. Rob is a keen golfer and plays for his club in Limpsfield Chart. He enjoys days out with his family, the theatre, karaoke, poker and DIY.
Lucy graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2010 with a degree in Furniture Product Design, and has since had 6 years in the construction and architecture industry. Having completed a 2 year renovation project on a cottage in Hollingbourne, Lucy is now looking for her next property adventure!
Russell heads up the design team, with an architectural interior design degree and 10 years of experience. He enjoys kite surfing, rock climbing and skiing. Russell is married to Kirsten and has two dogs, Beau & Sonny.
Purchasing & Logistics
Sarah graduated from Rochester University with a degree in Applied Arts. A qualified silversmith, she’s a country girl at heart. She loves walking her labradors, Isla & Bree, and is currently renovating her home in the Kent countryside.
Katharine Alder .Arb, is a Chartered Architect and Interior Designer. She studied at the University of Sheffield, University of Bath & University of Westminster. With 20 years’ experience in the construction and design industry, she has a wealth of knowledge to bring to the team. Her travels across the globe fuel her inspiration for design. When not working Katharine loves skiing, diving and sailing.
Judy has over 25 years business development experience in both business and consumer markets having worked in marketing, advertising, account management and business development roles. In her spare time she can be found in the gym or on the tennis court sweating it out.
Laura is currently on a years' placement before returning to Portsmouth University to complete her Interior Architecture degree. A fashion guru and enjoys collecting vintage shirts.
Having previously worked for an interior architecture practice, Lauren has 4 years in the industry. She loves travelling, having visited Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and India.
Andrew founded the company 20 years ago has worked within the interior architectural and design industry for 30 years. He takes an active role in all aspects of the company, encouraging the unique progress of each project . He created www.designforum.co.uk 15 years ago, which operates as a separate company, and supplies the interior design industry with furnishing textiles. His interests include skiing, sailing, golf and expedition trekking. He is an avid collector of eclectic decorative objects from the more remote parts of the world. Andrew lives in Kent, with his wife Martine and sons Max and Oli.
Rebecca graduated from Portsmouth University with a 1st in Architectural Interior Design. She supports the senior designers with current workload. With ballet, tap dance and tennis keeping her bouncing round the office.
